SARANAC LAKE broke out a bit at the start but was away in good order, showed early speed and prompted the pace along the backstretch run, went up and dueled SALTAMONTES DIVA into the turn, took command into upper stretch, shook free into the final furlong and kept to task late to prove best. AMADORA'S EMPIRE was well placed in the early stages while just off of the early pace, tracked from the inside heading into the turn, got caught in tight at the quarter pole then lacked room nearing the top of the stretch, shifted out and split rivals into the final furlong, chased SARANAC LAKE into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner late and was second best. SUNNY SAN LEON crowded a bit leaving the start, raced close up early on then rated just off of the pace, tracked between rivals heading to the turn, coaxed two wide and between foes nearing the quarter marker, chased three wide into upper stretch, was outkicked in the drive but stayed on in the late stages to be a clear third. I HAVE AN IDEA settled in the second flight leaving the start, was well placed to the turn while three wide and between foes, chased four wide into upper stretch, ran in pursuit to the final sixteenth and could not muster the needed late response. COINMAKER allowed to settle in the early stages, coaxed two wide to the quarter pole, angled widest into upper stretch, needed more to the final sixteenth and passed tiring foes late. LAUGHING OUT LOUD settled in the second flight to begin, tracked the pace while widest to the turn, ran in pursuit four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked the needed response into the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. SALTAMONTES DIVA broke in at the start but recovered and assumed early command, set a contested pace to the turn, dueled inside of SARANAC LAKE along the bend then battled that rival to upper stretch, could not keep pace inside of the furlong pole and faded in the final sixteenth. ANN'S STORM got crowded a bit at the start and was off slowly, was void of early speed and trailed to the turn, coaxed three wide to upper stretch and did not factor in the stretch drive.
