SKY ROCKER unhurried early, maintained an inside path to the far turn, rallied along the rail to upper stretch, took command into the final furlong and kept to task late. BLOOD ORANGE broke alertly then ceded the early lead, tracked the pace while saving ground up the backstretch, was well placed to the far turn then tipped three wide to upper stretch, was outkicked in the drive, chased the winner into the final sixteenth and held for the place. SWEET KARAT CAKE sent for the early lead, set a moderate pace while prompted along the backstretch, dictated terms to the second turn, left the rail open nearing the top of the lane and was overtaken approaching the final furlong, yielded to the top pair late and was clear for third. OPTIMISTIC COWGIRL tracked the early pace two wide and between foes, angled four wide into the stretch, chased the leaders to the final sixteenth and lacked the needed late response. ALL AMERICAN LADY raced close up to the early pace, went up and prompted the pace along the backstretch run, pressed into the far turn, could not keep pace to upper stretch and weakened in the stretch drive. WILBURNSCLASSYLADY settled in the second flight and outside of rivals in the early stages, tracked three then four wide into the far turn, lacked the needed response at the quarter pole then gave way in the stretch drive.
