Footnotes
FEATHER LAINE broke well, dueled outside of MO HOPE to the far turn, took command after passing the three-furlong pole, then opened up in the stretch and went unchallenged to the finish. MO HOPE hustled to the front, dueled inside of FEATHER LANE through the early stages, ceded the lead midway on the turn, was kept to task through the stretch, and managed to hold on for the place under steady handling and urging. HASKELLED broke well and was forwardly placed on the first turn, backed off the leading pair to a tracking position down the backstretch, responded when set down near the three-furlong pole, finished willingly but was outkicked to the finish while saving third. SINGING DIXIE was a little slow into stride, then raced well off the pace early, moved closer late on the backstretch run, then continued a forward move through the far turn and was mildly gaining in the stretch while never a serious threat. RANGO raced at the rear of the pack through the early running, then ran on some in the late stages to improve. CLOUDY PAST settled in mid-pack early, then lacked a finish. SPIN THE BREEZE settled in the middle of the field through the early stages two-wide, then had nothing to offer in the stretch. MAXIMUS MAGIC settled at the back through the early stages, dropped further behind on the far turn, and was never a factor.
