MIDSHIPMAN'S LADY pressed GET MY DRIFT on the early pace two-wide, took control midway through the turn, went clear of the rest in upper stretch, and maintained a comfortable lead to the wire. SUPERCENTS raced at the back of the main pack to the turn, advanced, waited for room late on the turn, then tipped out to the three path for the stretch run and chased the winner to the finish. BLAMEITONMIDNIGHT lacked any early speed and chased from far back down the backstretch, started to run on with three furlongs to go, angled to the outside of the field in upper stretch, and found best stride in the final furlong to move up into third. MISS TAPPY TONE raced between horses in the middle of the main pack, was sent along from the three-furlong pole under a stiff drive and finished up well, just missing out on the minor award. CINNAMON SUGAR gave an even effort while raicing three-to-four wide. SUCCESSFULPATH tracked along the rail with the second flight, came under a ride from the three-furlong pole, but did not provide the necessary response. FAYETTE BLUE was in a bit tight after the break, trailed well behind the field to the stretch, then passed a couple of tiring foes in the lane. DARK DUTCHESS raced three to four wide throughout, then lacked a finish. GET MY DRIFT made the lead while getting some mild pressure from MIDSHIPMAN'S LADY to the outside, gave way at the quarter pole, and stopped to a walk by mis-stretch and eased up in the final furlong.
