KISSIN RICHES was taken in hand early, got over to the rail on the first turn, settled in mid-pack, launched a bid approaching the quarter pole, got a clear run into the stretch, powered past the leading pair in upper stretch, and drew off to a handy win. SHY ANN showed good speed from the break, was two-deep into the first turn bidding for the lead, settled in a stalking position behind ITTY BITTY BABY down the backstretch, then ramped up the press midway on the far turn, dueled with that rival into the stretch but was not a match for the winner, while just holding on for second. GOLDEN PELICAN got away well and was forwardly placed into the first turn, steadied off heels past the seven-eighths pole, tracked close up to the far turn, started to run on midway through the far turn, altered course to the outside in upper stretch, then was gaining on the second-place finisher but came up short. ITTY BITTY BABY was off a beat slow but quickly went to the lead, led the way through moderate fractions to the far turn, had something left when confronted by SHY ANN at the quarter pole, but was overtaken in upper stretch. BELMIRA settled in the middle of the pack, lost ground on the far turn, then lacked a late bid. KAUSE I'M DEVINE was last into the first turn, settled three-wide near the rear going down the backstretch, then lacked a finish. MOLA MIA raced mid-pack three-wide, then faltered in the stretch. SALTAMONTES DIVA was held up near the rear while saving ground through the early stages, then was outrun in the stretch.
