UPTOWN TOPTHESSASSY easily got to a clear lead, rated kindly through the early stages, shrugged off a challenge by EKONIA near the quarter pole, and remained safely clear of the rest through the stretch. EKONIA got shuffled back after the start, then moved out to the three-path, worked steadily forward to become a threat TO UPTOWN TOPTHESSASSY on the lead approaching the quarter pole, but found that rival had plenty in reserve and had to settle for second. MAJD STORM got a clean break, conceded the front end and tracked behind UPTOWN TOPTHESSASSY down the backstretch, was unable to quicken with the top two from the quarter pole, but kept to task in the stretch to take the third spot well clear of the next finisher. WMA WILD KISSES raced close up near the back while saving ground, then was outrun in the stretch. WMA MADJIC SLIPPERS veered in after the start, bothering both inside rivals, raced at the back of the field, went wide into the last bend, and was unable to threaten in the stretch.
