Footnotes
CRUEL was allowed to settle after the start and was taken in-hand, raced three-wide with the main pack, moved up on the far turn, came four-wide into the stretch, and finished best to win clear. GOLD MAKIN GIRL took a light bump from the outside rival at the star, then secured a forward position in the tracking group while letting the pace scenario play out, became boxed in late on the far turn, found a seam leaving the three-sixteenths marker, and finished well to gain the place. PRONUNCIATION settled at the front of the trailing group, unconcerned with the runaway leader, moved closer on the far turn, took the lead in mid-stretch, but could not hold off a pair of fast-closing rivals in the final yards. FICKLE MISTRESS was determined to get over the rail after the start, raced in the middle of the tracking group, then finished with some late interest but was not quite good enough. KARA got bumped on both sides after the start, settled three-wide at the back of the field, then was gaining some ground in the late stages while never a serious threat. JUICY HANNA was off slowly then lost the path shortly after the start, raced inside near the back, and was unable to make an impact. REAL MISCHIEVOUS ducked in at the start, making some contact with GOLD MAKIN GIRL settled in third position racing in the three-path, was holding position in upper stretch, then had to steady near the furlong marker and was unable to recover. MAYBE SO sprinted clear to a double-digit early lead, then shortened strides near the quarter pole and weakened in the stretch.
