SPRING IN PARIS pressed the pace two-wide, took over the lead past the quarter pole, got first run into the stretch, and held sway under steady handling to the wire. POVERTY WITH AVIEW raced close up three-to-four wide down the backstretch, moved up to bid three-wide heading to the top of the stretch, finished strong but could not get to the winner. BEDAZZLE tucked in close up behind the early pace battle, launched a bid late on the turn, went three-wide, and finished with some interest to gain the third spot. RITZY MISCHIEF was the trailer down the backstretch, swung out four-wide into the stretch, and was gaining ground in the late stages. I WAS AN OUT chased on the inside to the turn, then went evenly late. MARETTE made the lead and was fighting the rider a bit, surrendered the front near the quarter pole, kept trying, but weakened in the final furlong. SENSE OF AWE was three-wide near the back early on, then failed to menace. WOLFBERRY was up close in the early running racing along the rail, moved up to the leaders on the turn, looked for a path on the inside, loomed in upper stretch, then tired.
