HER MAJESTY hopped and got off to an awkward start behind the field, was very slow to get going, chased from well behind the rest for the first half mile, regained contact with the field late on the backstretch, circled the field four-to-five wide through the far turn, then continued to rally through the stretch and was along in time to claim the top prize. SUGAR HILL broke well but was unhurried at the back through the early stages, pulled closer up the rail down the backstretch, then angled out to the three path midway on the turn, surged to the end with a furlong to go, but could not hold off the late charge of the winner. LOOKATTHATGIRLRUN broke in at the start and bumped with FELONY FLATS, tracked close up to the pace three-wide, bid into the stretch but had some trouble wih the lead change, but still managed to move up into the third spot. CHAMPAGNE PARTY settled early, steadily advanced closer down the backstretch, loomed three-wide near the quarter pole, then could not find another gear when needed in the stretch and faltered. GRAND CIRCLE was first to the clubhouse turn, ceded the front to DOTTIE C, pressed that one two-wide down the backstretch, then assumed the lead passing the half-mile pole, was challenged by LOOKATTHATGIRLRUN approaching the stretch, pushed back for a half-furlong, then gave way by mid-stretch. KATABATIC WIND was sent forward from the start, got caught three-wide on the first turn, then settled near the back and did not produce a late bid. FELONY FLATS broke outward at the start and mutually bumped with LOOKATTHATGIRLRUN, raced in mid-pack near the inside, then gave way on the far turn. DOTTIE C rushed up into the early pace mix, came out of the first turn a length clear, started to retreat late on the backstretch, dropped to last and was not persevered with in the late stages when hopelessly behind.
