Footnotes
ORE MINE was sent to the front from the break, hooked up with TOO MUCH LONG LEGS through rapid early fractions, left that rival behind at the quarter pole, and kept finding more in the stretch to win clear in a super effort. FLOTATION STATION was briefly with the early pace, backed off to a tracking position, moved up to challenge the leading pair approaching the quarter, was no match for the winner, but finished strong to hold second well clear of the next horse. OUR MOON PIE broke out at the start, made contact with LOUISIANA FLASH, shuffled back to last after the start, dropped far behind, kept to the inside while moving up closer through the turn, got blocked in mid-stretch, but tipped out to the three path, continued to move up and gained third. VALDINA DREAMS was sent hard from the start but unable to join the early pace battle, tracked inside with the second flight, was under a drive through the turn, and finished evenly through the late stages. LOUISIANA FLASH got sandwiched after the start to be last away, chased the main pack into the turn, came out six-wide at the top of the stretch but was unable to make up any ground. UNBRIDLED BLING ducked in at the start, making hard contact with VALDINA DREAMS, shifted to the outside and was outpaced early, moved into a tracking position three-wide going into the turn, and lacked a late response. TOO MUCH LONG LEGS was hustled from the break, dueled inside of ORE MINE into the turn, then gave way at the quarter pole and had nothing left in the stretch.
