SHE'S A SHOWBOAT dueled inside of JALAPENA LENA to the stretch, gained the advantage in upper stretch, and drew clear under steady handling. LEILA MAE broke sharply but ceded the front to the dueling rivals, chased that pair through the turn, keeping to the inside path, wandered a bit in upper stretch but finished well to get up into second in the final yards. JALAPENA LENA dueled inside of SHE'S A SHOWBOAT to the 1/4, gave way in upper stretch, then could not hold on for second in the late stages. ANGELS ENVY broke well, but had to be ridden along to keep up, tracked three-wide in the middle of the field to the stretch, then put in a good finish down the lane, was eating up ground in the final furlong, but was too late. STREET WISDOM raced in the middle of the pack, saved ground, and went evenly through the stretch. SI GRAYCIE GO broke in a tangle and was at the back of the field early, chased from well off the pace through the turn, and lacked a finish. PUSHING THROUGH dropped far back after an even beginning and was never a factor. CRIME SCENE was last to break, chased inside and lacked a rally. OLDFASHLOVESONG was outrun from the start and never threatened.
