Footnotes
SUPER ENTICING was being roused at the break but showed no early interest, chased behind the field to the turn, went three-wide into the stretch, and put in a strong rally, collared the leader inside the sixteenth, and went on to win clear. FLASH MASTER broke well, vied three-wide for the early lead, launched a bid from the three-furlong pole, took over the lead in mid-stretch, finished well but was caught by a fast closing rival inside the sixteenth pole. WHATA MOON got a head in front early, set a contested pace through the turn, came into the stretch with a slight lead, yielded the front in upper stretch, but kept on with good courage to save the minor award. LOTTERY TICKET settled inside mid-pack, advanced into contention on the turn, waited behind horses to the stretch, then was not quite doing enough in the late stages to threaten. HONEST tracked between horses in the second flight, then was mildly gaining in the late stages. HALEAKALA hustled up to join the early pace mix, held the inside position through the turn, then weakened in the stretch. DON'TCALLMEPATSY raced four-wide well off the pace, dropped down to the two path through the turn, then lacked a rally. TYPHOON TESSIE chased four-wide near the back and weakened in the stretch. HEY COWGIRL was outrun from the break, moved up to gain contact with the main pack on the turn, but could not keep pace and tired. FIRST CLASS LADY raced at the back of the main pack, then had nothing to offer in the stretch run.
