SKELLY ROAD was close up three wide in the initial stages, moved up to duel with PRINCE OF MISCHIEF through the turn, took command at the three-sixteenths marker, and drew clear under steady handling and intermittent urging. ONE DEAL raced off the rail on the inside of a trio tracking just behind the early leaders, became boxed in through the turn, then kicked on when clear in the stretch, but was too late to threaten the winner. CAUSE MIMI SAID chased the pace four-wide near the rear, then put in a steady rally in the stretch to move up into third. GRAN CORREDOR pressed the early pace to the inside, was stuck behind horses through the turn, and was unable to get clear until close to the finish line. CODY THE KID raced five-wide near the back in the first quarter-mile, came five-wide into the stretch, and improved. STRAIGHT DROPBILLY raced between foes close up early, made a bid approaching the quarter pole, then flattened out in the stretch. SALTYBISCUIT was slow to begin, trailed far back, and passed tired foes. PRINCE OF MISCHIEF hustled to the lead with several in close pursuit, battled back under a challenge from SKELLY ROAD on the turn, then gave way in the stretch. PRINCEOFTHEKNIGHT chased near the back, then was unable to produce a late bid.
