SECURED was the inside horse in a three-way battle for the early lead, gained command leaving the quarter pole, then opened up in the stretch and went unchallenged to the finish line. CAPETOWN CANDY settled in the back half of the field through the early stages, then came on late with a steady rally, but never got to the winner, moved up into second, well clear of the next horse. SHERI'S PRADA broke well, vied three-wide for the early lead, was unable to go with SECURED from the quarter pole, kept on well to save third. CHECKER'S SONG broke awkwardly to the outside and steadied after the start, trailed the field to the stretch, then finished up well to improve. TIFF WITH JIMMY was allowed to settle near the back, was being coaxed along heading into the turn, then was mildly gaining late while under a stiff drive. MATHURINE contested the pace from between foes, gave way at the quarter pole, and tired in the stretch. RAZORS EDGE veered out at the start, raced between the leading trio and the trailers, came under a ride with three furlongs to go and faltered in the stretch. INNER FURY (IRE) was hustled away at the break, settled in mid-pack to the turn, then did not responded to urging and retreated.
