RB BURN THE BRIDGE showed good speed from the break, turned back an early challenge from WMA RED WINGS, then outdueled RB PROM QUEEN in the stretch to win clear in a solid debut. RB PROM QUEEN settled off the pace early, made a strong mid-race move to gain contention, then chased the winner home well clear of the rest. WMA MAGICAL lost the path at the start when the outside rival came over at the break, took up, then went to the outside, moved up late on the turn and finished up well while no threat to the top two. WMA RED WINGS was bothered a bit when UPTOWN TOP SHELF came over after the break, raced close up inside to the turn, then faded in the late stages. WMA GERONIMO broke well, then dropped back, unable to keep pace early, steadily dropped back, and never rallied. UPTOWN TOP SHELF ducked in sharply after the break, bothering both inside rivals, settled along the rail and was near the back throughout.
