NOMORETANLINES broke well without really being asked, was a bit keen around the first turn, pulled to a clear lead exiting the first turn, kept the loose horse in sight down the backstretch and through the turn, widened the margin while still chasing the runaway, came off the rail in mid-stretch and held clear under steady handling. BLAMEITONMIDNIGHT settled well off the pace while keeping to the inside paths, could not go with the eventual winner, dueled with MIDNIGHT LADY through the stretch, and edged ahead in the final yards to claim the second prize. MIDNIGHT LADY settled at the back for the first half, made a sweeping move around the field on the turn, dueled with BLAMEITONMIDNIGHT through the stretch in a battle for second, but hung late. MAGIC GLASS broke on top but opted to sit off the pace on the first turn, raced two off the rail with the tracking group, then did not respond when called up on the turn. LOVE TANK tracked three or four wide in the middle of the field through the early running, then lacked a finish. STORY HOUR reared at the break, then stumbled badly, lost the rider; was caught by the outrider after the race and walked off. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY INTO THE START. AFTER REVIEWING THE VIDEO, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
