Footnotes
MY WIFE IS RIGHT settled mid-pack, launched a bid with three fulongs to run, came six-wide into the stretch, and finished up strong and was just up in the final jumps. SUPER BRADY was always close up, ranged up to the early leader at the quarter pole with a horde of rivals set to challenge, came two-wide of the turn, gained an advantage in upper stretch, and just failed to last. VODKA MARTINI got a good break, pressed the pace three-wide, was in the middle of a five-horse fan into the stretch, finished well but came up short in the end. HEZAKOOLKAT broke well and made the lead before the half, held sway through the turn, came under pressure at the top of the stretch, soldiered on, then weakened a bit in the final yards. ARTHUR was hustled forward after a slow start, advanced four-wide on the turn to gain contention near the quarter pole, then lugged in through the stretch and faltered. PROMISE CODE got knocked off stride shortly after the break, chased three-wide but was unable to threaten. CALL ME ICE MAN was up with the main pack to the stretch but unable to make an impact in the late stages. COLONEL BARTON showed little and was always outrun. SAMSPLAYERSLOUNGE was never a factor.
