PINKY RING BLING settled in mid-pack early, advanced on the leader four-wide on the turn, dueled with the inside rival down the stretch, and gained the advantage in the final sixteenth. BROCK ON BY was sent hard from the break to get to the early lead, went to a clear lead early, then fought on gamely between challengers in upper stretch, dueled with PINKY RING BLING in a spirited battle to the finish, and yielded grudgingly in the final yards. LOVE CANDY raced close up along the rail, came under the crop at the top of the stretch, weakened in the final furlong but managed to save third. RED SUMMERBIRD broke well and took up the early chase behind BROCK ON BY, angled out to the three path for the turn, then lacked the needed response in the stretch and finished evenly. GHOST COWBOY was held up near the back half of the field under some restraint, ran on some through the stretch, but missed the money. RIPSTER tracked four-wide in the middle of the field, swung six-wide into the stretch and lacked a finish. HAY SCOOBY DOO reared at the start, was off behind the field and was never a factor. EUROROCKSTAR stumbled coming out of the gate, then was exhibiting climbing action in the early stages, moved up into contention before the turn but tired in the stretch.
