DULCE AMANECER YG settled in a good spot behind the early leader in the two-path, ranged up approaching the quarter pole with AVAILING ready to pounce on the outside, finished determinedly under steady handling, and held clear of the popular rival in the final yards. CHECKER'S SONG tracked along the rail, came under a ride at the quarter pole, finished well under steady handling but could not get to the winner. AVALING steadily advanced two then three wide after getting off to a bit of a slow start, bid for the lead leaving the quarter pole, was unable to fend off a pair of rivals on the inside, and hung in the final furlong. GLOBAL HOLIDAY was outpaced after a level start and was not involved in the outcome while racing well off the rail. SHE'S EXTRA jumped out to the early lead from the start, then gave way under pressure in upper stretch.
