CHIEF LADY backed off the developing pace duel, stayed five wide in the clear into the turn, moved up near the quarter pole with aim on the leaders, then finished with a steady rally to collar BLUSHING BELLE in the final jumps. BLUSHING BELLE hustled up from the inside into the early pace mix, got a head in front near the half-mile pole, had a slight lead turning for home, then opened up before mid-stretch but failed to last. LOTTERY TICKET was the only entrant not to contest the early pace, settled just behind the leaders but without a path forward through the turn, steadied at the three-sixteenths marker when stuck behind a wall of horses, then rallied late to take the third prize. NAVAL WOMAN hustled from the gate, vied three-wide early, backed off to a stalking position through the turn, then bid for the lead between horses leaving the quarter pole, finished willingly but was outkicked in the final furlong. BEAUTIFUL MISCHIEF broke well to be four-deep in the early pace battle, struggled to keep up midway through the turn, and tired in the stretch. BLINGSTER contested the early pace two-deep to the stretch, then gave way in upper stretch.
