FOR THE HOME FRONT was allowed to settle early, raced well behind the pace and off the rail, navigated an inside path throrugh the turn, then five-wide into the stretch and ran down SUGARFREESUGARBABY in the final yards. SUGARFREESUGARBABY broke well, tucked in behind the early pace battle, saved ground through the turn, then swung out four wide for the stretch run, finished strongly under steady handling, but came up short while well clear of the next horse. BAD AND BOOZY vied between horses early, maintained contention into the stretch, then weakened near the furlong marker, but managed to save third. GLORY ALL THE TIME outrun early, raced four to five wide at the rear of the field down the backstretch, launched a bid going into the turn, was never getting to the front pair, but was steadily gaining and improved. SWIFTLIKETAYLOR contested the early pace on the outside of a three-way battle, turned into the stretch with every chance but faltered in the final furlong. SHE'S A KITTEN battled on the inside for the early lead, then gave way with just over a furlong to run and stopped. NAYAKIM chased in the two-path to the turn, then dropped to the back and had nothing to offer in the stretch.
