MIGHTY ENTICING got away well and raced close up three wide to the half mile pole being coaxed along, launched a bid leaving the three furlong marker and went to challenge SCHOOL TEACHER for the lead, found that foe tough to get by at the head of the stretch, gained an advantage in mid-stretch and drew clear in the end. SCHOOL TEACHER broke well but conceded the lead to SHERRYS RIDGE, settled along the rail in the close tracking position, took over the lead leaving the half, went clear on the far turn with MIGHTY ENTICING in close pursuit to the outside, matched the bid in upper stretch then gave way grudgingly passing the furlong pole and held second. WILD STEEL got caught four wide through the first turn then remained wide while tracking the pace on the outside of the second flight, launched a three wide bid from the three furlong marker, chased the top pair down the stretch to no avail but finished well clear of the next horse. SHERRYS RIDGE made the lead on the first turn then went clear down the backstretch until being overtaken at the halfway point, was unable to keep up and finished evenly the rest of the trip. FUN AS ALL GIT OUT was close up on the inside for most of the race, was unable to on when the leaders got away at the top of the stretch and was one-paced the rest of he way. MISS MOTOR MOUTH was outrun through the early stages, later settling to the outside of fellow trailer MADDIE'S MAVERICK, tried to launch a bit on the far turn and made up some ground in the stretch but was unable to threaten. MADDIE'S MAVERICK lacked any speed, raced well behind the rest to the inside of MISS MOTOR MOUTH, got left behind on the far turn and finished far back.
