Footnotes
BREWING reserved from the break, advanced steadily down the stretch and through the turn, loomed at the quarter pole then took command at the top of the stretch and drew off as much the best here. FULLY FUNDED vied four wide contesting the early pace, dropped out approaching the quarter pole, then came back on strong under steady handling and narrowly got up for the place. LONE TREE was three deep in the early pace battle, maintained position through the turn then was unable to go with the eventual winner in the stretch, soldiered on gamely and was nosed out for second. TOUGH TROOPER was two deep in the early pace mix, held the rail as the combatants turned for home, kept on well but was nosed out for a minor award despte a solid effort. BLAME DENNIS got to the front and maintained a short lead to the turn, came under pressure approaching the quarter pole and gave way readily, was kept to task but was spent from early efforts and had little to offer. TOO COLD AT HOME under a drive early, was kept to task and passed a few late. PICCOLO UOMO was close up to the three furlong marker then weakenened under pressure and was not a factor in the stretch. DOC HENRY RIDGE raced near the back of the field and never mounted a rally. GIVE HIM TIME hustled from the break but could not keep up, raced four to five wide throughout near the back of the field and did not factor in the outcome. WONDERFUL NEWS raced mid-pack to the turn then struggled to keep up and was outrun the rest of the way.
