Footnotes
SCATTERED MISCHIEF broke well, then ceded the lead to EDGE CHASER, remained in the stalking position through the turn, bid for the lead at the top of the stretch, gained the advantage passing the sixteenth marker, and went clear late. EDGE CHASER got pinched back shortly after the start, then rushed up to take command, had SCATTERED MISCHIEF as a constant shadow to the stretch, then set down with that rival at the head of the lane, then yielded in the final sixteenth. TEXAS SPEED QUEEN raced between horses in the second flight, finished up well, and was gaining ground in the late stages but ran out of time. LET HER BE tracked three-wide, was still in contention in the stretch, but was outfinished. AUNT PENNY tracked close up on the inside but was outfinished in the stretch.
