HIGH FRONT broke on top, dueled briefly with HIGH FRONT, went a couple of lengths clear late on the turn, and maintained that margin to the finish. STAYED IN FOR HALF pressed the pace inside, finished willingly, but could not close in on the eventual winner. BAD BEAT BRIAN outrun early, saved ground through the turn, then finished up well under steady handling but not quite doing enough in the late stages. MARCUS GIFT was void of early speed, ran on through the stretch and improved, never a serious threat. EXECUTIVE POWER raced two-wide in the tracking pair, came out three-wide for the stretch run, but kicked on too late. CLASSIC MOMENT briefly dueled with HIGH FRONT, then dropped back and weakened in the stretch. BALSA got bounced around at the start but was under a ride and chased the pace four-wide, was outkicked in the stretch, but kept trying. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
