NO TROUBLE tracked to the outside of PINEHURST (IRE) several lengths behind the pacesetters for the first half-mile, moved closer through the far turn, the launched a three to four wide bid for the lead approaching the quarter pole, took a short lead in upper stretch, beat back a challenger from NERKY ROSE in the stretch and held sway to the wire under strong handling. NERKY ROSE settled near the rear five wide early on then three wide on the far turn, started a forward run with about three furlongs to run came four to five wide into the stretch and dueled with NO TROUBLE through the last furlong, had every chance but could not get by that rival. GHURAIR'S WARRIOR allowed to settle from the break and raced three wide mostly near the rear of the field, started a forward move on the far turn and came five wide into the stretch, finished well and outfinished the rest of the field but was never a threat to the top pair. PINEHURST (IRE) tracked well behind the pacesetters to the inside of NO TROUBLE through the first half, bid inside on the turn but was stuck behind horses late on that turn, finished with some interest but could not summon a winning late kick. GUNNY HIGHWAY settled at the rear of the field then made a mild late rally when angled out five wide in the stretch but was never a serious threat. CHEROKEE SUNRISE dueled inside of RAIL TOWN well ahead of the rest, got the better of that foe approaching the quarter pole, was immediately challenged on the outside by NO TROUBLE, battled gamely to mid-stretch and weakened. TWELVE VOLT saved ground while racing well off the pace through the early stages, finished one-paced in the stretch and was never a factor. RAIL TOWN dueled with CHEROKEE SUNRISE through reasonable fractions then gave way al the quarter pole and tired in the stretch.
