FRIDAY NIGHT FEVER took back after the start, settled along the rail, moved within range approaching the far turn, went three-wide in launching a bid with a little over two furlongs to run, surged to the front at the top of the stretch, and went clear under steady handling. GAME TIME DECISION was not asked for speed from the break, steadily advanced up the backstretch under a ride, continued to gain steadily through the turn and into the stretch, could not run down the winner, but outfinished the rest to take the second prize. ZORRITOS DASH was coaxed a bit after the break to get forward position, made the lead mid-way through the clubhouse turn, then led down the backstretch with GOLDEN PURSUIT pressing the issue to the outside, still had a head in front past the quarter pole, but had no answer for the eventual winner in the stretch and was all out to save the show money. KOCHAN tucked in behind the leading pair for the first half-mile, became boxed in through the far turn, but lacked the needed response when clear in the stretch. BAYOUSUMCRAWFISH off a step slow, tracked in the middle of the field through the early stages, was under a ride on the far turn, and was not a factor in the stretch run. OTHERBROTHERDARYL was last into the first turn and never threatened. GOLDEN PURSUIT got forward position from the start, pressed the pace two-deep to the far turn, came under a ride near the quarter pole and flattened out in the stretch.
