MONEYSTRIKE got put in tight right after the break, then was sent aggressively to the lead, pressed by ARIES HONOR through solid fractions, responded when set down leaving the quarter pole, had something left, and kept that determined rival at bay to the finish. ARIES HONOR broke inward at the start, putting the inside foe in a tight spot, pressed MONEYSTRIKE two-deep from the start, set down with that one in the stretch, but could not get by, despite giving a solid effort. ROCKY ROCK IT settled at the rear of the field through the first half-mile, made a forward move on the rail through the last turn, then finished well to move into the third spot while not a serious threat to the top two. PEYTON'S DAY missed the break and spotted the field a head start, went three wide into the clubhouse turn, steadily advanced up the backstretch while staying in the clear, tipped out to the four path in the stretch, and kept to task but could not get into the money. ECHO MARINE showed good speed from the inside but ceded the front before the first turn, settled in third position behind the dueling leaders, bid three-wide leaving the five-sixteenths marker, loomed a danger in upper stretch but flattened out. RICKIE ROOOO STER settled on the inside off the pace, was under a ride going into the far turn, but lacked a response. GUARD OF HONOUR settled near the back but was having to be coaxed along to keep pace, was being asked more urgently by the rider on the far turn, but did not respond. GHURAIR'S WARRIOR tracked in mid-pack three-wide, dropped to last on the far turn, and chased without improvement to the finish.
