BLING BABY ducked in sharply after the break, dueled between rivals to the turn, put a head in front passing the three-furlong pole while being confidently ridden, then responded when set down in the stretch and drew clear. BELLA BLU MOON was up with the pack to the half, backed off at that point, then came back three-wide at the quarter pole and finished best of the rest to claim the second prize. GAMBLING DEN was three-wide in the early pace battle, was first to crack and backed out midway through the turn, did not have much to offer in the stretch, but managed to hold third. MIDNIGHT BREEZE steadied slightly and went out to the four-path to avoid BLING BABY at the start, then moved up to press the pace three-wide, was unable to quicken with BLING BABY leaving the quarter pole, and tired in the stretch.
