CHASING COYOTES chased RING SEEKER from the start, was under a stiff drive midway on the turn but kept to task and wore down that rival in the final yards. RING SEEKER opened up a clear lead early, maintained the margin through the turn and into upper stretch, then gave way grudgingly. RAROTONGA tracked three-wide in the second flight, tried to move up three-wide on the turn, but was outkicked in the stretch while gaining the third spot. BANDERA BLING tracked on the inside of the tracking trio up the backstretch, then was outfinished in the late stages. ESSAY was off slowly, dropped back after the start, and trailed throughout.
