Footnotes
ENTICING SUNSET got a clean break and seized the early lead and the rail, was left to dictate terms on the front, turned back all challengers at the top of the stretch, and won clear under steady handling and intermittent urging. CRUEL broke awkwardly to the inside but recovered quickly, was taken back for the first half, steadily advanced through the far turn up the rail, swung four-wide into the stretch, and produced a strong rally to get up into second. PUT A ROCK ON IT settled near the back of the field through the early stages, made a four-wide forward move on the far turn, finished well, was not getting to the winner, and was caught late by an outside rival for the place. AVALING broke well but was taken to the rail turning on to the main course, settled in mid-pack up the backstretch, ranged up into contention on the far turn, but lacked a clear path, siipped inside near the three-sixteenths to move into second turning into the stretch, but was outkicked in the stretch. GOLDEN PELICAN pressed the pace two-wide, was having to be hard ridden to keep pace on the turn, then was outfinished in the stretch. AMADORA'S EMPIRE raced near the front of the tracking group through the early stages, then moved up three-wide on the far turn to make a run at the leader near the quarter pole, but was unable to sustain the bid and faded in the stretch. COUNTY SLUGGER raced two to three wide in the middle of the pack, then lacked a rally. GIRLS GOT GAME threw the head up at the start and away slowly, dropped far behind early, and never threatened.
