Footnotes
SMARTCENTS hustled up after the start, settled behind SLEEPY ROSE to the turn, then edged ahead near the quarter pole while under confident handling, was set down in upper stretch and drew clear under steady handling. TIFFANY TAP tracked three-wide in mid-pack down the backstretch, advanced some through the turn, came four-wide into the stretch, could not match the winner in the stretch but finished well clear of the third horse. WHISPERIN LIZ broke on top, ceded the lead early, stalked the pacesetter to the turn, made a mild bid late on the turn, flattened out in the stretch but managed to hold third. SISTER SPEAKER was outrun and last early, then passed tiring foes in the stretch. SPEAKING OF ART tucked in just behind the pace going down the backstretch, then struggled to keep up through the turn and was not involved in the late stages. SLEEPY ROSE dueled for the lead to the quarter pole, then faltered in the stretch.
