TAKE ACTION vied three-wide in the early pace mix, backed off heading into the turn, then re-bid three-wide from the quarter-pole, produced a steady rally, and was able to reel in the leader in the final yards. HELLADIC was coaxed to the lead from the break, took a narrow advantage early, repelled all challengers with a quarter mile to go, opened up in upper stretch, but was unable to last and yielded inside the furlong pole. MY WIFE IS RIGHT was last away and far behind initially, but steadily advanced mid-race, and kept on through the lane to take the third prize. SEND OFF dropped back to last after a level start despite coaxing from the rider, kept three to four wide throughout, closed stoutly through the stretch, but was much too late. NORTHVALE ROAD got pinched at the start, then rushed up to join the early pace battle four-wide, was in range of the lead approaching the quarter pole, but was outkicked in the stretch. HOLIDAY RUN was outrun down the backstretch, then came back on a bit in the stretch but was never a threat. IMMA BLINGY LAD was up with the pace for about a quarter-mile, then dropped out and faded.
