Footnotes
STAY LIQUID went quickly to a clear lead, responded when roused in upper stretch, and drew clear late in a solid debut. GORMLEY'S KITTEN was allowed to settle after the start, tracked three-wide up the backstretch, started a rally on the turn, and gave futile chase through the stretch while finishing clear of the third horse. CRIME SCENE got off to a level start, but was outrun. SILIVAS broke outward at the start, making contact with STAY LIQUID, raced close up to the turn, was set down at the quarter pole but lacked the needed response in the lane. WITT'S GONE WEST was hustled up into the second spot after the start, chased the pacesetter while under a drive through the turn, then weakened in upper stretch.
