HAPPY N SMILING settled four-wide early, was always up close, responded when set down in upper stretch, and ran down the leader in the final yards. FLYIN WITHTHE BOSS was not pushed after the start but ranged up to take the lead before the turn, had GLORY O lapped on the outside, kept that one at bay through the stretch under steady handling, but could not hold the winner in the final yards. GLORY O pressed the pace two-wide, issued a game challenge through the stretch, but was ultimately denied. CLAIRE JUNE was farthest outside in the early pace mix, bid four-wide through the turn under a drive, but was outkicked through the lane. NOW HEAR THIS moved up after a slightly tardy start, was without a clear path early on the turn, but could not kick on in the stretch when clear. MY BOY VANDER broke sharply and made the lead from the break, but jumped a shadow before the turn, lost momentum, then was a little hard to place into the turn, jumped a tire track in upper stretch, and was not persevered with from that point. RUN WITT RUN dropped back to last after an even beginning, chased willingly, but was unable to improve.
