Footnotes
KNOCK KNOCK JOKE settled four-wide early, moved up to bid for the lead at the top of the stretch, battled on the outside of three other rivals through the stretch while lugging in, then edged ahead in the final yards. BERGHEIM tracked three-wide throughout, finished up well, but could not match strides with the winner in the final yards. HERE COMES BRAYLON settled in a stalking position just off the flank of MO HOPE, kept on well but was outkicked in deep stretch. MO HOPE went to a narrow lead early without really being pushed, tried to temper the pace throughout the early stages, responded when asked to quicken at the top of the stretch, but was overtaken by mid-stretch. PACIFICISLANDTIME tracked five-wide down the backstretch, could not quicken with the rest, dropped to the rail on the turn, and followed the field to the wire. SEND OFF was unhurried from the start and settled well behind and never fired.
