HEZAKOOLKAT pressed the pace two-wide under confident handling, shook clear late. ALGEBRA tracked four-wide up the backstretch, advanced through the turn, then finished up well under steady handling to close the gap on the leader and gain the second prize. RED SUMMERBIRD raced close up along the rail, lacked a clear path through the turn, finished up well, and was just up to grab the minor award. STANS HOME RUN raced inside at the back and was mildly gaining in deep stretch. TOO MUCH LONG LEGS broke on top, set a pressured pace into the turn, battled back under threat from HEZAKOOKKAT in upper stretch then weakened late. BANDERA BLING was devoid of speed from the start, regained contact with the field on the turn, but was unable to improve. CARBON STRYKER raced at the back between horses and lacked a rally.
