Footnotes
HUNT MASTER seized the early lead and took the field to the far turn, yielded the front to OCELOT late on the far turn but remained close, came back on under strong handling, took back the lead near the sixteenth marker, and edged clear in the final yards. OCELOT tracked HUNT MASTER in the two path through the early stages, moved up to challenge and took a short lead before the quarter-pole, found that rival resurgent, battled hard to deep stretch but gave way near the sixteenth marker. COUNTRY CAPER was far back early, rallied, closed in through the final furlong, but was too late. GIGANTE raced well off the pace near the back and off the rail, finished with some interest, and closed the margin to the leaders late,. ILLUSTRATOR unhurried from the start, raced far back, ran on some late, but was unable to improve. GO GO BOSS raced well off the pace in the middle of a very strung-out field, dropped back to last on the turn, and was outkicked in the stretch. NEW COURSE RECORD.
