CHARLIE DONT SURF broke outward at the start and had to be coaxed to get involved early, vied inside of four, then three rivals to the turn, shrugged off all but one near the quarter pole and finished up strong to win clear under steady handlling. OLD MONEY was up on the pace two-deep, was the first to crack, backing off at the quarter pole, but caught a second wind in the stretch and chased the winner home a clear second best. COOL AGENT pressed the early pace three-wide. backed out at the three-furlong pole, was last to turn for home, then came back on in the stretch to gain the minor award. BABY OF THE FAMILY was very slow into stride and the distant early trailer, rallied while saving ground through the late stages and improved while never a serious threat. SIP AND GO was the widest of the quartet contesting the early pace, loomed under a drive three-wide at the top of the stretch, but flattered out and missed the money. WALKERS CREEK settled well behind the pace battle racing three-wide, moved up into contention on the turn, came five-wide into the stretch, but was outkicked in the final furlong.
