SPUNOUTOFMYMIND veered in sharply at the start, was being coaxed early to get into the early pace battle, made the lead and secured the rail before the turn, dueled with FAITH'S SPIRIT through the whole of the stretch and prevailed in a game effort. FAITH'S SPIRIT vied four-wide in the early pace battle, kicked on with SPUNOUTOFMYMIND through the turn, dueled that rival from the quarter pole, was headed mid-stretch, kept trying but could not get past the winner before the wire. THE BIRDMAN was initially five-wide contesting the pace down the backstretch, swung wide on the last bend, and finished well to best the rest of the field while still well behind the top pair. I AM ON THE LIST tracked behind the early pace scramble, dropped to last before the turn, came out six wide for the stretch run, raced on the left lead but was able to improve position. GRAN CORREDOR was briefly up in the middle of the early pace mix, dropped back leaving the half, then had a mild resurgence in the stretch. MISCHIEVOUS INTENT dropped back a bit after a level start, took up near the five-furlong pole, advanced three-wide through the turn, then flattened out a bit in the stretch. BETTER DAY got bumped by SPUNOUTOFMYMIND after the start, then was close up but stuck inside behind horses and without a clear path, weakened and lost ground on the turn, and tired in the stretch. PRINCE OF MISCHIEF hustled to the early lead but had a host of chalelngers to the outside and dropped out before the half, was under a ride midway through the turn and was kept to task but outfinished from that point. BETMEBUDDYBETME pressed the pace three to four wide, then tired in the stretch.
