Footnotes
POLLITO TITO broke well, dueled with RUSTY GADGET through the early stages, took command leaving the half-mile pole, responded to strong handling and urging to pull clear in the late stages. WITT'S TEN TOUCH got crowded after the start, settled just behind the dueling leaders, moved up late on the turn to bid three-wide for the lead, proved no match for the winner late, but was well clear of the next horse. KEEPMOVINGFORWARD raced mid-pack three-wide, kept on well late, gained third. FANDO dropped back after a level start, advanced under a drive through the turn, finished with interest, but was not doing enough to pose a threat. RUSTY GADGET dueled outside of POLLITO TITO, weakened passing the quarter-pole, and tired in the stretch. BRADIX tracked off the pace three-wide, did not produce a late kick, and went evenly through the stretch. CAPOTE'S GLITTER was the distant trailer, then rallied up the rail to improve. BAR HOPPIN BILLY broke out at the start, made light contact with outside rival, then raced close up on the inside, had every chance in upper stretch but did not kick on in the late stages. MORO LEGEND was outrun from the start, raced three-wide well behind the pace, and lacked any late interest. CAUSE IM THE KING race far back but away from the rail, had little to offer in the stretch.
