BEACH KITTEN broke sharply, was steadied past the five-eighths pole, stalked the pace in the three path, bid entering the turn, dueled outside of a foe and was clear late under mild urging. PICKLE SHOES led between rivals, dueled inside of the winner but was no match late. TRICKY FUREY trailed, bid in the three path at the quarter pole but couldn't close late. WELLAREYOUHAPPYNOW pressed the pace inside, was checked near the half-mile pole and lost momentum.
