Footnotes
RANDELLO stalked the pace in the three path, bid four wide at the quarter pole, dueled through the stretch outside of a rival and was up under mild urging. HUNTINGTON dueled outside of a rival, was clear briefly on the far turn, then was engaged by the winner, dueled inside of that one and was outfinished. GOLD BUCKLE raced in the three path, stalked the pace between foes, bid in early stretch but faltered. MAYNARD led inside, dueled briefly on the far turn and gave way in the stretch. POET OF LIFE (IRE) raced six wide around the first turn, stalked the pace in the four path, then faded. LIEUTENANT JACK saved ground. JOHNNY'S MOMENT raced inside, bid between foes going at the seven-sixteenths pole but had no closing bid. COMMANDER COMPTON was through early.
