Footnotes
COMMANDER STORM pressed the pace inside, was checked on the turn and lost three lengths, angled to the five path nearing the quarter pole, rallied strongly and was just up under a strong hand ride. CINCO DE OROS led between rivals, drew off in the stretch and was caught at the wire. SPECIALTY ACT stalked the pace in the five path but had no late bid. LANTANA STAR stalked the pace in the two path but couldn't close. U R NOT THE FATHER improved position late. CALL ME KAT vied inside but gave way at the eighth pole. C S EXPRESS raced well back and passed tired rivals outside. TWO STEP JAKE was bumped at the start, vied three wide but faded in the start. MICHIGAN LEFT raced evenly in the two path. TENNYSON KID raced in the six path, was steadied on the turn and faded.
