Footnotes
TEXAS CYCLONE vied in the two path, bid in early stretch and was kept to task. GREAT SWORD angled to the four path near the three-quarters pole, bid near the half-mile pole, vied outside of rivals and was no match in the stretch. PURDY DARN GOOD vied between rivals, was no match in the drive and was nipped for the place. MIDNIGHT VENGEANCE saved ground and offered a mild late bid. VENENO FUTURO was bumped at the start and raced evenly. HOWARD'S GRIT led inside and gave way near the half-mile pole. ONLY FRANK KNOWS was off awkwardly, was never involved and was eased.
