LAKEN came in early to tighten up foes, pressed the pace in the two path, bid approaching the far turn and drew off in the mild drive. REACHINGFORTHEMOON bobbled the start, was steadied in the early going, stalked the pace in the two path, bid at the three-eighths pole and bothered a rival inside, saved ground on the last turn but faltered in the drive. DELIGHTFULLY bobbled the start, stalked the pace in the three path, bid near the half-mile pole but faltered. RHAPSODY IN BLUE hopped at the start, raced in the four path, rallied near the three-eighths pole but couldn't close late. MY SECRET DREAMS stumbled at the start, was checked on the first turn, trailed but had no late bid. C V HOLLY was clear early, was bested near the seven-sixteenths pole, then was taken up near the three-eighths pole when a foe came in and lost all chance. THE STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION ON AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF MY SECRET DREAMS AGAINST THE WINNER, BUT UPON AN INQUIRY THEY DISQUALIFIED REACHINGFORTHEMOON FOR INTERFERENCE ON THE FAR TURN AND PLACED HER LAST.
