LIL MUGGS stalked the pace in the three path, rallied in early stretch and drew off under a steady drive. SPECIAL CREED dueled outside of a rival, bid near the half-mile pole and drew off on the turn, couldn't hold off the winner but held the place. MIKE'S CYCLONE raced in the two path and gained the show spot late. POETIC WORDS raced evenly in the five path. DREAMING SMART dueled briefly inside, stalked the pace along the rail but had no closing bid. THOUSANDS OF HOPES was off awkwardly and raced evenly in the four path. MISTER POSITIVITY was off awkwardly, raced inside and was checked near the three-eighths pole in tight quarters. THE STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION FOLLOWING AN INQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING UP THE BACKSTRETCH.
