KILLJOY was clear early, dueled, dug in and was clear late under a mild drive. GIMMEETHREESTEPS stalked the pace in the two path, bid inside of the winner near the three-sixteenths pole but couldn't get past the winner. SERGEANT GUMP dueled outside of the winner and yielded in the stretch. DECATUR STREET stalked the pace between rivals and rallied late in the four path. CROSSTOWN SHOOTOUT raced in the five path and had no late bid. VSOP stalked the pace in the four path before fading in the stretch. ROCKET HOSS was bumped at the start, stalked the early pace between rivals, saved ground and faded in the stretch. JR JIMMY broke sharply, settled and steadied near the half-mile pole.
