FRANZ JOSEF was clear early and held sway under a steady drive. HAPPY HAPPY DAY (ARG) saved ground, rallied late in the three path and gained the place. EXPLOSIVELY was squeezed back early, angled to the five path in early stretch and rallied belatedly. MONEY WAR pressed the pace in the three path but lacked a late bid. GREAT SWORD was jostled early in tight quarters, raced in the three path, rallied near the quarter pole in the four path but couldn't close late. BORN FLASHY stalked the pace inside and steadied near the eighth pole. PAPPY'S REVENGE stalked the pace in the three path before fading in the stretch. VACCINATOR was not a factor. FERAL'S JOY was squeezed back and was steadied early, then raced inside.
