ASTERIA was unrushed early, bid between rivals near the three-eighths pole, was blocked in early stretch, altered course to the four path near the eighth pole and rallied, in time under a steady drive. VIOLETA M (ARG) stalked the pace inside, angled to the four path near the quarter pole, rallied, led late but was caught. BIJOU BABY saved ground, was steadied in early stretch, checked late, bid and was missed. PRETTY RIBBON (IRE) was steadied in the early going, was unrushed, bid in the four path near the eighth pole and closed late. CHERE AMIA stalked the pace in the two path, bid near the quarter pole, led near the eighth pole but couldn't hold off the closers. HIDDEN PRESENCE angled to the four path near the three-eighths pole and offered a mild late bid. STORMY PARADISE broke sharply, was clear early and gave way in the stretch.
